Terms and conditions
These terms govern use of YATT, an independent time-tracking and reporting app for Jira Cloud.
1. Provider and agreement
YATT is provided by Andrii Bohun, an individual based in Ukraine ("we", "us"). Contact [email protected]. By installing or using YATT, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to accept them on its behalf; otherwise, do not install or use the app.
A separately agreed written order or customer agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms. Atlassian's products and services are governed by their own terms; Atlassian is not a party to this agreement.
2. Access and permitted use
Subject to these terms and any applicable order, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use YATT for your organization's authorized internal purposes. Your organization manages access, Jira permissions, YATT roles and configuration. You must use the app lawfully and hold the rights and permissions needed to process the information you provide.
You must not bypass authorization, access another organization's data, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or use the app to infringe another person's rights. Do not provide credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal information in worklog descriptions or support requests.
3. Your data and responsibility
You retain your rights in your data. You authorize us and the underlying platform providers to process it as necessary to operate YATT, provide support and comply with law. Our privacy policy explains data handling. Where required, appropriate data-processing terms should be agreed before use.
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of time entries, organizational reporting practices, access settings, and exports. Keep copies of records you need and verify reports before relying on them for payroll, invoicing, contractual or regulatory purposes.
4. Jira integration and reporting limits
YATT creates, edits and deletes real Jira worklogs. Live reports depend on the viewer's Jira permissions, source data, platform availability and configured dates and timezone. Incomplete loading or unavailable data may affect results.
Closing a period restricts writes through YATT and preserves reporting archives. It cannot prevent changes made directly in Jira or another app. Such changes can make approvals or snapshots inconsistent with current Jira data. Archived records can remain available to authorized YATT reviewers after the source data changes or access is removed.
5. Commercial arrangements
Applicable fees, billing intervals, service periods, renewal, cancellation and refund arrangements are set out in the order, subscription or other commercial agreement accepted by the customer. These terms do not create a price, automatic renewal or a free-use entitlement. No additional paid service will be ordered on your behalf without your agreement. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
6. Support, availability and changes
Support is available at [email protected]. Any specific response times, service levels or support commitments must be agreed separately. YATT depends on Jira Cloud and Atlassian Forge and is subject to their availability, permissions, limits and quotas.
We may maintain, update or change the app. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes or discontinuation where practicable and comply with applicable customer commitments. These terms do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or any feature beyond an applicable written agreement.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
We and our licensors retain rights in YATT, its branding and website, subject to applicable third-party licenses. Customer data remains yours. You may provide feedback voluntarily and authorize us to use it to improve YATT without compensation; this does not transfer ownership of your confidential information or customer data.
8. Confidentiality
Each party must protect non-public information received from the other, use it only for the agreement's purposes, and disclose it only to people and providers who need it and are subject to appropriate duties, or where law requires disclosure. These duties do not apply to information that is public without breach, already lawfully known, independently developed or lawfully received from another source.
9. Warranties and liability
Except for commitments expressly agreed in writing and to the extent permitted by law, YATT is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will be error-free, meet every requirement or be suitable for a particular purpose. You should assess its suitability for your organization.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory statutory rights. Any additional liability allocation or agreed cap must be specified in the applicable customer agreement.
10. Suspension and ending use
You can stop using YATT and have your site administrator uninstall it, subject to any commercial agreement. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a material breach or a security risk, providing notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate.
Export needed records before uninstalling. Uninstallation does not remove native Jira worklogs or clear browser data. Forge-held information follows Atlassian's retention rules as described in our privacy policy. Obligations concerning confidentiality, accrued payment, intellectual property and liability survive termination where relevant.
11. Applicable law and updates
Unless a separately agreed customer contract provides otherwise, this agreement is governed by the laws of Ukraine, subject to any mandatory protections or jurisdiction rules that apply to you. Contact us first to seek a resolution of a dispute.
We may revise these terms and update the date above. Material changes will be notified where appropriate; they do not retroactively change an accepted commercial order without agreement or override mandatory rights. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service in accordance with your applicable agreement.
